Rick & Tammy Rehberg and Family
The Rehberg Family of Burlington, WI will be receiving a new heating system on October 15th, courtesy of H.J. Faust, Inc. and Lennox through the Feel the Love program.
Juniors in high school should be thinking about prom, college options, or what to do on a Friday night — not spending time in hospitals and worrying about treatments. Unfortunately, the Rehberg family has been living with the terror of childhood cancer for the last nine months, ever since their son, Nathan Rehberg, was diagnosed with AML Leukemia.
Nathan Rehberg is the 17-year-old son of Rick & Tammy Rehberg and a junior at Burlington High School who is heavily involved in FFA and agriculture. He spent over five months at Children’s Hospital Milwaukee receiving three rounds of intense chemotherapy treatments, with his family close by his side as his biggest supporters. In June, Rick Rehberg was able to donate bone marrow to his son once Nate entered remission. In late July, Nate was able to come home. However, his immune system continues to be extremely compromised. The Burlington and surrounding communities rallied support in many ways to help this family feel supported through an expensive fight.
A good friend of Tammy shared her son’s story through a Feel the Love nomination, and we are excited that they can rest easy knowing that H.J. Faust, Inc. and Lennox are here to support them.
