About H.J. Faust, Inc. Heating & Air Conditioning
Locally Owned & Trusted Since 1978
H.J. Faust, Inc. opened its doors in 1978, and we've spent every year since earning our place in this community, one job at a time. Equipment has changed, systems have gotten more complex, and expectations for what a good HVAC company should deliver have gone up. Our approach hasn't changed: we still show up, diagnose things accurately, and do the work the way we'd want it done in our own homes. That approach has carried us to more than 20,000 installs across Burlington, Lake Geneva, Waterford, and the surrounding communities.
We're still locally owned and privately held, which means we answer to the neighbors we see at the grocery store and elsewhere around town, not a corporate office three states away.
Want to work with a team that’s been part of this community for over 45 years? Contact us at (262) 418-0700 and let’s talk about what you need.
Part of This Community, Not Just Working In It
Each year, in partnership with Lennox, we take part in the Feel the Love program, where we nominate a family in our area who can't afford a new furnace and install one for them at no cost. It's one of our favorite things we do all year.
We also support the Tall Tales Music Festival, the Burlington Turkey Trot benefiting Love, Inc., and the Transitional Living Center of Burlington, and we support local schools, athletic programs, and the Chamber of Commerce. On the job site, that same care shows up as we recycle every eligible material and dispose of the rest the right way. Taking care of our neighbors and taking care of the place they live in go hand in hand.
What We Do
We're a full-service heating and cooling company, which means that most of what your home or business needs can be handled by one team instead of multiple subcontractors.
Our HVAC services in Burlington and the surrounding areas include:
- Heating and cooling services, that include installation, repair, and replacement for furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and more
- In-house sheet metal fabrication, so ductwork and custom components are built to fit your space instead of being forced to fit from a box
- Indoor air quality solutions, from filtration to humidity control
- Maintenance plans that catch small problems before they compound into full-blown nightmares
- 24/7 emergency service, because breakdowns don't wait for business hours
Not sure whether you need your HVAC system repaired or replaced? It's a question we hear often, and it's not one that we answer lightly. Every recommendation we give starts with an inspection, not a cursory overview. If a repair will genuinely solve the problem, then that's what we'll tell you, even if a replacement would be the bigger sale. Our job is to give you the information you need to make the right call for your home and your budget, not to make the call for you.
The Training Behind Every Technician We Send
Every one of our technicians has come up through our Internal Apprenticeship & Development Program, which means they've completed years of classroom study and hands-on fieldwork under a Senior Mechanic before they started working unsupervised. That learning doesn't stop at graduation. Everyone on our team, in the field and in the office, sits through at least four training sessions a year to keep up with new equipment and changing codes. Our technicians carry NATE certification and factory training on top of all that.
We're proud of the technicians all that training produces, and we're always looking for more of them. If you're a skilled tradesperson who wants a team that invests in you, ask us about our open positions.
What You Can Expect Working With Us
Letting an HVAC contractor into your home is an act of trust.
Here's what we do to earn it:
- A straight answer: We inspect before we recommend any service, and we'll tell you plainly whether repair or replacement is the smarter move.
- Trained mechanics at your door: Every technician has completed a five-year apprenticeship and holds NATE certification as well as factory training.
- No surprises: You'll know the diagnosis, the recommendation, and the cost before any work begins.
- Respect for your space: Clean work areas, careful installations, and responsible disposal or recycling when the job's done.
- Someone there when it matters: 24/7 emergency service is available for the breakdowns that can't wait until Monday.
